Concept, ideas & designs
Creating a sucessful fashion label requires a wide array of skills. Fashion design, textile design, marketing, branding, communication, logistics, business planning and so on.
We can’t help with all of it, but we can consult with you on concepts and ideas, provide fashion designs or review fabrics. Our aim is to advise and offer innovative manufacturing and design options you did not even know were possible. We want to make our clients benefit from all of our team member’s experience.
We made branded tees for school reunions and eco-friendly music festivals, aprons for cafés and uniforms for hotels. Send us your logo and we’ll apply it on knits or woven and deliver you with an high-end, chemical-free, handcrafted and customised apparel.
We believe in original, sustainable fabrics and production processes. Over the years, we scouted, discovered and created a network of artisans, skills and processes which allows us to give a truly unique identity to our client’s products.
Be it the product itself, how it is made, where it is made or how it is packaged, we pride ourselves on offering ingenious, artisanal and sustainable alternatives at every step of the production process.
Our time-tested team of weavers, dyers, fashion designers, pattern makers, block printers and other talented professionals are ready to help. From your original ideas and requirements to a truly sustainable product.
Choose the fabric most suited to your feel, fall and price requirements within our ever-expanding swatch book. It currently contains 150+ fabrics, most of which are sold with transaction certificates to achieve perfect supply chain transparency. We strive to offer a wide range of options with interesting sustainable characteristics. As such we work with organic cotton, banana fibre, soya bean fibre, hemp, Lenzing Tencel or Lenzing Modal, amongst other.
If the fabric you need is not within our catalogue, we can also weave samples as small as 2 meters as per your requirements. Hemp/peace silk, cachemire/modal, linen/wool and other exiting blends are already in stock. But we look forward to developing yours as well. We can design your fabrics together, and weave ikats or other yarn dyed fabrics. We develop our fabrics on either hand, shuttle or power looms.
We do custom block-printing, screen-printing, Shibori, block Batik and hand Batik amongst other techniques. All printing, Shibori and Batik work is done by our own team, in-house. We can craft custom blocks or screens from your sketches and print on the fabric of your choice.
Our fabrics, block prints and screen prints can be dyed and printed using only 100% natural dyes or with GOTS approved low impact fibre reactive dyes. With 100% natural dyeing, we do not use any chemical in either scouring, bleaching, dyeing or finishing the fabric.
We can sample any woven or knit clothing. If you cannot provide the pattern, one of the talented pattern makers within our team will transform your idea or sketch into a graded pattern. We can also advise on a number of trims and finishing options to match your targeted ex-factory price.
Tags and Packaging
When sustainability is concerned, we believe efforts should be made throughout the supply chain and in all aspects of a product. Tags and packaging included. We want to help you craft a unique clothing item, truly sustainable and artisanal, from the fabric to the packaged product.
Choose a material first; either in our range of handmade, naturally dyed or recycled paper. Or, if you have to go with plastic for packaging, choose amongst recycled, biodegradable or corn based plastic. We will help you designs your artworks and layouts and then determine together the best printing method.
Small or large productions, we strive to give the best quality to price ratio. We want to spread a conscious fashion and help remove the idea that, for it to be sustainable, fashion has to be expensive.
Running stock: Slow fashion labels typically work with small production runs, and we aim to serve them as well as larger labels. To make that happen we keep fabrics in stock. If we have the fabric you need, we will accommodate with as little as 1 meter.
Dyeing: If we do not have your fabric in stock, we require 100 meters minimum per colour for fabric dyeing in jigger machine, 30 meters minimum for hand dyeing. Garment dyeing starts at 30 pieces/colour. Dyeing below 30 meters or 30 pieces is charged sample rates.
Fabric weaving: 50 meters on hand looms, 300 meters on shuttle looms and 90kg for knit weaving.
Ready-made: Starts at 25 pieces/colour. Do get in touch to know more, we supply at wholesale prices our own products or start making your own at low minimums.
